WICKED Scene & Song Workshop – A 3-Day Broadway Intensive for Kids! 

Live & In-Person in NYC | Limited to 22 Students | Ages 8-18

Experience the magic of WICKED like never before! Join us for a three-day intensive where young performers will explore scenes, songs, and choreography inspired by the hit Broadway musical. While this is NOT a production of Wicked, students will be guided by Broadway professionals and the BKA coaching team in a dive deep of character development, musical storytelling, and the rehearsal process—just like real Broadway performers!

✨ What to Expect:
🎭 Scene Study & Character Development – Read scenes from WICKED and explore the arcs of Elphaba, Glinda, Fiyero, Boq, Morrible, and more.
🎶 Vocal Performance – Sing through sections of iconic songs as solos, duets, and ensemble pieces. Most iconic solo moments will be broken into smaller solos or group numbers so everyone can have their chance to fly!
💃 Inspired Choreography – Learn movement inspired by WICKED’s signature style.
🎤 Broadway Masterclasses – Gain insight from current and former Broadway cast members of WICKED!
🎬 Rehearsal Process & Etiquette – Learn how to prepare for a role, take direction, implement notes, and build confidence on stage.
🎭 Final Presentation – Showcase what you’ve learned in an in-studio performance for friends & family on Sunday morning!

🟢 Optional Add-On: Two tickets to the matinee performance of WICKED at the Gershwin Theatre on Sunday, June 22 @ 3PM for each student and one guardian. $260.00 for 2 tickets + fees (tickets must be purchased by March 30, 2025).

🕑 2PM-4PM: Group Welcome, Warm-Up & Choreography Class
🕓 4PM-6PM: Group Music Rehearsal & Solo Musical Work

Saturday, June 21
🕙 10AM-6PM: Choreography, Table Reads, Music Rehearsals and Q and A’s with full cast. 

Sunday, June 22
🕙 10AM-11AM: Group Warm-Up
🕚 11AM-1PM: Parent Presentation (In-Studio Performance!)
🕒 3PM: Optional Matinee of WICKED @ The Gershwin Theatre
