🌟 Five Days of Acting & Musical Theater Magic! 🌟

Calling all young performers! Join us for an unforgettable five-day summer intensive in the heart of New York City, where YOU take center stage!

📅 Session One: July 21-25, 2025
📅 Session Two: July 28-August 1, 2025
📍 Location: Open Jar Studios, 1601 Broadway, 11th Floor, NYC
🎭 Final Performance Venue: AMT Theater, 354 W. 45th Street, NYC
🕙 Times: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (Note that we will be ending at 6pm EST on Monday July 21st and Monday July 28th only)

At BKA, we create student-centered experiences. Each student will receive a solo or duet to showcase their talents and encourage growth. This year’s intensive will be built around YOU, featuring songs and scenes tailored to each performer from hit musicals like:
🎶 Beetlejuice, SIX, Mean Girls, Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, The Prom, Sweeney Todd, and more!*

✨ What’s Included?
✅ Small Group Classes – Work in age-based groups (8-12 & 13-18: students will be separated by age groups for classes and performances)
✅ Professional Training – Learn singing, acting, and dance techniques
✅ One-on-One Coaching – Private 30 virtual prep sessions before arrival (one with the musical director and one with the director).
✅ Industry Access – Work with top NYC directors, talent agents & casting pros
✅ Final Performance – Show off your skills in a Musical Revue at the popular NYC venue AMT Theater.

🔹 Afternoon: Individual scene & song coaching
🔹 Evening: Special events, guest speakers & masterclasses
🔹 Friday Finale: Tech rehearsal + LIVE performance in NYC!

💰 TUITION: $1,950 per student

*Please note: these are not productions of these musicals, but rather, sections of them to be used for educational purposes. Students must be willing to accept a solo or duet as material assignment. BKA does not require an audition for this intensive, but we recommend you discern if your child is ready for a professionally focused performance program before signing up! In order to put a show together in this manner, artists will be expected to have all materials memorized and well rehearsed after their music and acting coaching. Artists will be expected to be performance ready at rehearsal on the first day so they are ready to receive staging and additional direction as our team creates the show specifically for our cast.

This workshop is for educational purposes only and cannot and will not be treated as an audition.
